Carpeted bedrooms need special attention. Vacuum slowly in multiple directions to lift embedded dirt. For high-traffic areas or visible stains, consider renting a carpet cleaner or hiring professionals.

Tile floors can handle more moisture. Use a mop with warm, soapy water, paying extra attention to grout lines where dirt accumulates.
